While you might be unfamiliar with the name Brian Byrne, you’ll probably recognize his voice - he’s the current frontman of I Mother Earth (and has been since Edwin left back in ’97). Byrne’s also a celebrated solo songwriter, with a couple of folk and country albums to his name. His new solo single “Arizona (I Miss You Most)” is a heart-wrenching acoustic ballad written about losing a friend to suicide. All proceeds of the song’s sales go to suicide prevention and awareness group Collateral Damage. The Arizona Project was established by Byrne and his wife Tara’s non-profit group OCD Collective, an initiative to use music for social change.
