Blame Confusion

Getting a belated international release on the famed Fat Possum label (out via Dine Alone at home) guarantees new press attention for Blame Confusion, the debut full-length from fuzz-loving noisy Montreal duo Solids. The title cut is a good primer for what to expect from a band clearly influenced by the likes of Dinosaur Jr and Sonic Youth. Crank loud to clear your sinuses. This was recorded by Adrian Popovich (Sam Roberts, We Are Wolves). Solids have just begun an extensive North American tour that includes multiple SXSW dates, following by a European trek in May. For gigs, go here. Solid? Way more than that.
