Blitz/Berlin are an electro-tinged rock band who also write music for film. Their big break came via their critically acclaimed score for the 2014 feature film, Extraterrestrial, and now (after a mixtape and singles) they've delivered a strong debut full-length album, Distance. The members previously worked in punk bands and as underground electronica producers, and those roots are audible in their current sound. Vocalist Martin Macphail explains that "We wanted this album to feel kind of fun and reckless. If we’ve done it right, listening through should feel like a soundtrack to a very strange film.” That they have done, and the dramatic and atmospheric album marks them as a group who could go the distance.

There are no tour dates set as of yet.
