DnF (feat. Drake & Future)

You have to hand it to Drake. As Canada’s most popular hip-hop ambassador, he’s used his considerable influence to introduce the public to the likes of The Weeknd, PartyNextDoor, and Majid Jordan (all of whom consistently rank in the top 30 on the Emerging and Established NCM Charts). You can now add Toronto’s P. Reign to the list of Drake’s protégés. The rapper, born Raynford Humphrey, has already had some early top-40 success, including featured appearances on Alyssa Reid’s "Alone Again" and Hedley’s "Invincible", but that’s just a precursor to what’s coming next. His new single, “DnF”, featuring Drake and Atlanta rapper Future, is a NSFW unrestrained slow-burner, with the minimalist leanings of any OVO Sound track. People are definitely starting to take notice – the official music video on YouTube‘s passed 3 million views, and it’s nearing 13.5 million streams on Soundcloud. He’s boastfully proclaimed himself the “King of Da North” - with some legal complications preventing him from entering the U.S. likely to pass any day now, he might be aiming for the throne down south soon enough.
