Exile Pt. 2

The idea of serializing an album by releasing it in chunks is growing in popularity, and prolific rock troubadour Eamon McGrath is executing the concept nicely. This release pattern means he can remain a road warrior while still putting out new material. Exile Part 2 is the second in a series of EPs he'll release this year, and it's just as strong as the first. Recorded live off the floor by Rob Higgins (Change of Heart), "Canadian Shield" and "Paper Boats" show off McGrath's rock side, with the virile support of members of July Talk. The dynamic tunes possess a Neil Young meets The Constantines feel, while "Running From The Cops" confirms his skill as a solo acoustic performer. All the EPs will be collected on a vinyl album in the summer. McGrath sets off on another European jaunt in April.
