The latest addition to the Arts & Crafts family and resident firecracker, Lowell drops her label debut I Killed Sara V. this week. It’s everything that her collaboration with "supergroup" Apparatjik promised: a kaleidoscopic take on alternative pop, spanning from witchy shriek electropunk (“Cloud 69”) to confessional balladry (“I Killed Sara V.”). Provocative, unrelenting, and incredibly vibrant. Someone should probably tell the Calgary-born singer that stardom is within her reach, if she doesn’t know it already.
Live dates right now are limited to Toronto - March 2 at the Garrison and A&C Field Trip festival June 7 and 8.
