Peruvian Born Singer Irene Torres can be heard on the radio internationally with bands such as Santerias and The Sugar Devils. Singing in 3 languages and performing all styles. Her voice can also be recognized on jingles for McDonald's, Kohl's, Jello & LCBO. Her talents stretch beyond lyrics and singing, when it's time to perform she is one seductive lady to see and hear.
The Sugar Devils comprise of award winning artists from all over the world whom all bring different influences to the mix, the result is very intriguing. Trinidadian born, NYC schooled, Brownman Ali is an award-winning jazz artist heralded by the New York Village Voice as "Canada's preeminent jazz trumpet player". Award winning Rob Neal Christian is a multi instrumentalist with perfect pitch who is nothing short of brilliant on flute, sax, keys, vocals. Rob was the youngest solo artist to play the Beaches International Jazz Festival. Drew Austin is an internationally touring drummer and percussionist who has worked with award winning artists in every genre. Drew transforms the band with his ability to play delicate or ferocious in any format. Guitarist Josh Piche and Bassist Jesse Dietschi are both Brandon University Music Alumni. Josh "Yoshi" Piche is a well recognized musical director, producer and guitar player in Toronto. Jesse Dietschi upon recently completing his masters in composition has become an in demand jazz and world music bass player.
