Let It Out
Power rock trio Flying Joes draw upon the classic sound of Cream and Led Zeppelin while adding a fresh twist. Together less than two years, they've played nearly 175 shows and are getting a great response in Quebec to their new debut album Let It Out. It was recorded with award-winning producer Glen Robinson (AC/DC, The Ramones, Keith Richards) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, The Black Crowes, Soundgarden), so the production values are high. As with the best blues-rock trios, there's nothing fussy or cluttered about their high-energy sound. Of note: In August 2014, Flying Joes won the Nuits Blues Laurentides Canadian contest with the song “I’ve Gone Missing”.
The band played The Horseshoe earlier this week and have a number of Quebec shows in December. Check their site for details.
