L'heure et l'endroit
Steve Dumas is being heralded for his incredible studio wizardy on his latest album, "L'heure et l'endroit", which comes 11 years after his eponymous debut set heads turning in his native Quebec. There's a terrific blend of romatic whimsey in his lyics this time out, built upon catchy synth riffs and natural twang of his hollow-dodied guitar. Stand-out tracks include "Tes Histoires" and "Le fleuve gele", but our favourite is the breezy but infective opener, "Un aller simple".
