Newfoundland songbird Pamela Morgan has been a vibrant force in Canadian folk for nearly four decades. After her groundbreaking work in Figgy Duff, she has shone on collaborations with Anita Best and on a series of her own solo recordings. This, her fourth, is another valuable addition to her discography. Morgan's strong, pure voice and evocative songwriting remain in top shape. The album was recorded mostly in England, featuring top local players, while Canadian talents Dave Panting, Best, and Kelly Russell also contribute. Highlights include her own "All The Pretty Flowers" and a sweet cover of the classic "Loving Arms." Play on, Ms. Pamela.
