While Montreal producing team Adventure Club had a successful year, their most impressive feat was collaborating with apparel company Electric Family to produce a line of bracelets, with proceeds going to the “Fuck Cancer Charity”. To date, more than $14,000 has been donated.
Back in May 2012, they released a dirty dubstep track, “Rise and Fall”, with the girls from Illinois-based trio Krewella handling the vocals. The duo originally came up from the punk/hardcore scene, so that could explain why their wobbling and throbbing bass sounds so aggressive and punishing. “Rise and Fall” is currently at 1.3 million plays on soundcloud and is still climbing.
