Here's an interesting career path: blues vocalist/harpist Jordan Patterson was previously a very successful tour manager (Britney Spears) and a production manager/promoter for House of Blues Concerts. Prior to that, he was internationally acclaimed as a bluesman, with his 1996 debut, Give Me A Chance, notching global airplay. He's now back in the game, with a fine Canadian band and a new EP, The Back On Track Recording Project, that gets us excited about a full-length later in the year. Patterson is very convincing as a singer and harmonica player, and his band's sound is suggestive of Stevie Ray Vaughan. He's a welcome addition to our blues-rock scene.
The JPB recently played festivals in Quebec and Ontario.
