The Glorious Sons surfaced with a splash in 2013, winning the HTZ-FM Rocksearch, releasing an EP, Shapeless Art, and delivering two top-10 Active Rock singles. The quintet now up the ante with Union, their debut full-length. Boosted by the production of hitmaker Gavin Brown, first single "Heavy" is already making noise. The Trews’ John-Angus MacDonald produced most of the album, and the Sons' hard-hitting yet melodic rock sound definitely reflects that connection. The state of this Union is strong, and The Glorious Sons are carrying on the Kingston rock tradition (Tragically Hip, The Headstones) in fine fashion.
The band are now on an extensive cross-country tour with Aussie rockers Airbourne. For dates, go to http://www.theglorioussons.com/tour/
