Third Stage Propellor Index

Broomfiller describe themselves as "an unashamedly punk rock band", with named influences including Foo Fighters, Husker Du and Bad Religion. The production values on their strong new album Third Stage Propellor Index are far from lo-fi DIY, as they recruited the very skilled Jordon Zadorozny (Blinker the Star/Courtney Love/Sam Roberts/Lindsey Buckingham) to produce. The mix of melody and muscle on cuts like "How Long So Long" and "Tears Me Apart" should make them rock radio-friendly. The band has been together since 2001, and that's reflected in the tightness of their playing. Look for this album to propel their career significantly.

Broomfiller has an Ontario and the West tour set for September and October. Check their site for details.
