Indie folk singer/songwriter Shawn William Clarke first made a mark as sideman for the likes of Timber Timbre and Olenka and the Autumn Lovers. He went solo on highly-praised 2010 debut record Like Birds Too Tired To Fly, released two more EPs and now delivers a winner with second full-length album William. Inventive arrangements frame literate and personal compositions and Clarke's warm and gently haunting voice. The album was produced by James Bunton (Ohbijou, Diamond Rings, Evening Hymns) at the studio space inside Currie's Music and Collectibles in Gravenhurst."The  supply of vintage equipment there is unparalleled”, says Clarke, and he took full advantage. Cited influences include Tom Waits, Bright Eyes, Wilco, and Martin Tielli.

Clarke's 12- city Eastern tour begins in Peterborough on Sept. 26 at Gallery in the Attic, looping back to a finale in Belleville on Oct. 11. see his website for details.
