Montreal punks East End Radicals describe their sound as "fists-in-the-air union anthems colliding with raging sing-along street punk bangers and oi-inspired Maritime boot stompers." That fits with our take on their fine and fiery new (second) album Zero Hour, one that to us suggests a hybrid of Stiff Little Fingers and The Mahones. Four tracks here are reprised from their Generation Checkout 7-inch.
A seven-date tour of Quebec and Ontario begins in Montreal at Petit Campus on Feb. 12. Check their website for full details.
