Video of the moment

Every week we select a music video by a Canadian group or artist who have recently been reviewed by our editorial team. If you'd like to suggest a video for consideration, you can send us a message using this form.

The Arts & Crafts label is earning quite a reputation for the quality of video clips by the Canadian artists on its roster. Recent signing Reuben And The Dark are continuing the high standard set by comrades Timber Timbre and The Darcys, groups with whom they share a penchant for majestic soundscapes. The Calgary-based RATD are releasing their much buzzed-about debut album, Funeral Sky, on May 27 and we can tell you its a winner. They've just unveiled a new video too, for a highlight track, "Black Water", one directed by Kaelen Ohm. The haunting images of a man in turmoil perfectly mirror the song's lyrics. It's only flaw is that it's brevity (2.45) leaves you wanting more. Ease that thirst by checking out their recent video for "Rolling Stone"
