Video of the moment

Winnipeg band Comeback Kid have not registered much in the mainstream music biz and media radar in Canada, but they're now a huge deal on the international hardcore/punk scene. Their large fanbase is salivating over the March 4 release of their new album, Die Knowing. Out on premier U.S. hard music label Victory (and on Distort Entertainment here), it is their fifth album, confirming they've paid their proverbial dues. They're now on an extensive U.S. tour, then trek to Europe (March 28 to April 20), followed by a cross-Canada tour, May 2-23. For a taste of what to expect from the album and tour, check out this video for the new album's first single, "Should Know Better". Filmed in Winnipeg club The Boneyard, it is a fast-moving and hard-hitting clip that captures the fiery intensity of the band's sound and illustrates why their shows have earned such a high reputation. The drummer gets bonus points for the Propagandhi T-shirt (a nod to his city's punk heroes).
